The US Embassy in Montenegro was attacked today by Dalibor Jaukovic, a 43-year-old Serbian man, former military, decorated by Milosevic in 1999.
The author has also killed himself during the attack. The Montenegrin Police has increased the security throughout the country, while the US Embassy has interrupted consulate services.
Jaukovic had served with the Yugoslav army in Kosovo and was honoured by Milosevic for special merits in defence and security.
The incident took place 10 years after demonstrators in Belgrade put the US Embassy in fire, opposing Kosovo’s declaration of independence.
