Montenegro protests, Nimanbegu: Anti-Albanian messages from opposition

21/10/2015 12:15

For the Albanians of Montenegro, the violent protests in the country
were encouraged by those who oppose the integration of this small
country to the EU and NATO. The Albanian MP in the Montenegrin
Parliament, Genci Nimanbegu, says the protest is led by the Democratic
Front, a party that is against NATO.

Nimanbegu says the opposition has its first support from Moscow, and they have shown during the protest symbols against the Albanian population with support of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Nimanbegu says that no ethnicity in Montenegro makes 50% of the population, and the Serbs and Montenegrins are always conflicted about the direction of the country.
