Mogherini visits Tirana one year later, with the same agenda

Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs
and Security Policy and Vice President of the EU Commission, will visit
Tirana on March 4th, on the final deadline given to the Albanian
Parliament for voting the Vetting Commissions, with equal participation
from the opposition and government.
Mogherini’s tour starts with Podgorica, on March 1st, then continues to Sarajevo, Belgrade and Prishtina, and concludes with Tirana.
Mogherini was in Tirana exactly 1 year ago, on March 4th 2016, when she appealed the Parliament to implement the judiciary reform as a condition for starting EU accession negotiations.
An year later, the opposition boycotted the Parliament and raised a tent in front of the Prime Minister’s office. They demand a technical government and electronic voting on June 18th.
