Mogherini: “Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, for the best interest of both countries”

The EU High representative for Foreign Policy, Federica Mogherini, spoke about the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo during the presentation of the enlargement strategy for Western Balkan.
“The future dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo is essential for both countries and for the entire region. It is also a perspective for EU accession. They know this very well and they cooperate together very well, but there are always electoral and political cycles that need to be taken in consideration, something that we also do in our member countries. I am now encouraged by the fact that both presidents have launched a new dialogue phase which requires a normalization of relations. I think it could be concluded positively, if there is determination from their leadership and commitment from our part, within this term”, Mogherini declared.
