The Highest Representative of the EU, Federica Mogherini, has avoided
Albania by canceling her participation at the meeting of Southeastern
European Cooperation Process.
Sources close to her cabinet say for Top Channel that it was canceled for logistic reasons. The Head of European diplomacy had to travel last night grom Sarajeva to Tirana.
She is attending a visit in Bosnia, wher she met with the highest leaders of the there ethnic communities. The meetings in Parliament are going beyond the schedule, changing this way her plan to visit Tirana.
Mogherini should have been part of the dinner of the Albanian Presidency, organized for the Southeastern European Cooperation Process. Her agenda was to greet this regional initiative before traveling to Great Britain.
Now it has been confirmed that the Highest Representative will travel from Sarajeva to London, where she will hold a speech about the current challenges of security and diplomacy in the EU at the Royal Institution of International Matters, Catham House.
