Modern entrance road for Tirana

The rehabilitation of this road segment, including canalization, widening of the road and planting of trees started this Thursday. The illumination will be realized through solar panel lamp posts.

Rama declared that quality must prevail in this rehabilitation, so that the entrance of the Albanian capital can have European standards.

“Many people thought that what was done for the Pope’s visit was just a makeup in a party day. The truth is that it was the start of a radical change of Tirana’s entrance, which, unfortunately, had turned into a path of waste materials. This project will continue everywhere, with the same standards and an aesthetic sense”, Rama declared.

Ramë Geci, President of the construction firm, said that they need cooperation from all state institutions, especially the Aqueduct and Canalization, Energy Distribution and optic fiber companies, since this road is a real catastrophy for the moment and these companies need to be present during the works.
