Mladic, Jahjaga: Crime cannot be forgotten

Kosovo President, Atifete Jahjaga, greeted the arrest of the former
Serbian General, Ratko Mladic, declaring that finally justice will be
served.
“The arrest of Ratko Mladic is a much awaited news for the international justice and especially for the families of the victims”, Jahjaga declared.
The Kosovo President declared that this arrest shows that crime is never forgotten, and criminals will never escape justice.
While Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuçi considers “a delayed action” the arrest of the general accused of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.
“I can say that this is a symbolic event for former Yugoslav countries, to be seen as a new approach for Serbia”, Kuçi declared.
According to him, the arrest was made possible thanks to the international insistence, and not Serbia’s will.
