In the last two days has started the massive distribution of Serbian new
car plates in the northern Mitrovica, while the Kosovo Chief of Police,
Reshat Maliqi, emphasized that the Police will continue to stop any
initiation that violates Kosovo laws, by confiscating the Serbian car
plates.
According to RTK, the Kosovo Chief of Police warns all people that think to act against Kosovo laws that they will face the strong rule of law.
According to him, although the northern Mitrovica is mostly under the competences of EULEX, the Kosovo Police will react immediately if the life of the Kosovo citizens will be risked, without asking permission to anyone.
