The archives of the former Yugoslavian army and other mechanisms that
were part of the war in Kosovo is the address that shed light on the
fate of 1800 persons that have disappeared 13 years ago.

Deputy Prime Minister Edita Tahiri, who leads Kosovo’s delegation in the technical dialogue with Serbia in Brussels says for Top Channel that they are convinced about this and this is the reason while they should be open.

“Despite the refusals of the Serbian part, we have been able to convince the European Union to include it in the dialogue agenda. We have demanded the genocide archives to be open, more specifically, the archives of the war operations in Kosovo. We are convinced that it has data about the Albanians who have disappeared”, Tahiri declared.

The issue of the disappeared people has been discussed only in one dialogue round in Brussels, on May 2011. Tahiri will report in Parliament what it has achieved so far.

Tahiri reminds that the Serbians showed their readiness to cooperate and for this reason they asked the EU to have a guaranteeing role in this process.

“Mr. Stefanovic’s reaction was no different than the official policy pf Serbia, by showing no readiness to confront the responsibilities of the state during four aggressive wars in the former Yugoslavian spaces, by making an unseen genocide in Kosovo. This is the reason why we asked the EU to be directly committed”.
