Albanian government increases support for around 5,600 people with disabilities 04/12 21:07
Endri Dumani and his sister, respectively six and nine years old, have
disappeared since February 2014. Her mother reported their
disappearance, but they were sent by their father in Syria. Shkelzen
Dumani is one of the six people wanted by the Albanian Police.
The children are taken to Syria without the consent of their mother. One source says for Top Channel that the police has taken the arrest measure for six people, and Shkelzen Fari Dumani, born in 1975, is one of them. Dumani was born in Dibra and lived in Lapraka, Tirana.
He is charged of organizing appeals for recruiting persons who should go to Syria. Another suspect of this list and who is thought to be in Syria is Gerti Pashja, 30-years-old, born in Dibra and resident of Tirana. The man who is suspected of organizing this is Shyqyri Kaca, 46, born in Dragostunja and raised in Librazhd.
Almir Daci, 31, was born and lived in Leshnica. He was an unauthorized Imam of the Leshnica mosque, according to the Prosecution.
Medi Manallari, 65, was suspected of financing and participating in this recruitment.
“Based on phone conversations and e-mails that have been surveilled, the Prosecution suspects that these people are implicated in recruiting more than 70 people to Syria”, Sources say.
The Police has returned several people who were recruited by these people in Syria, and who would be welcomed in Turkey by some other Albanians.
They were returned after not having the monetary means for traveling abroad, while being under surveillance for all the time.
