Ministry of Energy pardons arrears for families in need

35.000 families in need will benefit a further pardon of their arrear
fine, only if they will pay regularly the monthly bill and the arrear
months, based on an agreement with the Energy Distribution (OSHEE).
“People with Special Needs, Retired Senior Citizens and those on Welfare will have their arrear fines zeroed, against a symbolic payment of 20 ALL”, said Ardian Cela, Director of the OSHEE.
The total value that will be pardoned mounts up to 9 billion ALL. The categories in need will pay the delayed payments with an installment of 1200 ALL per month.
Other families will pay 2800 ALL.
