The Ministry of Energy and Industry declared that they will take all
necessary measures to address the concerns of the Zharres residents,
after the Bankers Petroleum oil drilling.
“We have communicated constantly with Bankers Petroleum to discuss all measures and stop injecting high-pressured water in these areas”, the communication says.
According to the announcement, Minister Damian Gjiknuri has ordered a special working group to analyze the situation and find a solution to the problem.
Minister Gjiknuri asked the company to interrupt all high-pressure water injecting operations in the wells localized around Zharrez until a second notice.
