The Socialist Movement for Integration leader, Ilir Meta, said that he
welcomes improvements in the government, referring to the cabinet
changes made by PM Rama.
What he didn’t say, is that one of the reasons that Cani resigned, is that several MPs of the SMI were not happy with his work.
The slow performance with the Arber Road in the area Cani covers as MP, and the refusal to reduce the mining honorary taxes, may be the reason of a coordinated action against him.
As for the presidential decrees for the newly appointed Ministers, Meta said that the delay might be due to the procedures.
Meta gave these comments after meeting the Israeli Parliament Speaker, Yuli-Yoel Edelstein, who said that our two countries have a long path of cooperation, but a lot remains to do in the future.
