In the new auto-bypass in Vlora, through the intervention of the National Inspectorate of Territory Protection, it was possible to remove all entities that had abusively occupied public spaces, using them for commercial activities.

These illegal interventions had also damaged road safety, thus creating danger for all users of the new road axis.

Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku was on the ground today, in one of the freed points thanks to the intervention, with the inspectors Dritan Agolli and the head of IKMT, Ervin Hoxha.

Balluku warned that there will be no tolerance for anyone who abuses, announcing that there will be administrative penalties in case similar violations are found, not only on the Vlora bypass, but on any other road axis, as these interventions endanger road users.

“The consultation period ends here and real measures will now begin to be taken, be it fines or administrative acts, as all parties must be respected, not just for the respect of state property, but also for security”, added Balluku.

On his part, director Agolli announced that the work has started to identify the points where the parking lots will be built, as there are 5 of them so far. “We will be able to do some projects which we hope that after the end of the tourist season, September-October, we will start working so that everything will be ready for the next season”, said the director of the ADF.
