Minister promises harsher fines for abuses with fuel prices, and new inspection lab

12/08/2019 17:40

Abusing with the fuel price is equal to fiscal informality, says the Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku.

According to her, both violations are closely tied to each other. Balluku warns of a wider operation for checking the fuel quality, and threatened with higher fines and even with companies going out of business.

The Minister said that the inspections will cover both the extracting and processing companies.

Within this year, a new lab will be built in Porto Romano. The entire technical and industrial state inspectorate will be improved with new capacities.
