Minister of Justice: “Army against cannabis”

The Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, considered the cultivation of
cannabis as damaging as pyramid schemes. He proposed the government to
activate army against this phenomenon.
“People are convinced that this is taking place in Albania and we need to react proportionally. This means that we must react stronger than any other time before, even by interfering with our army. I don’t know if it is an emergency or not, but the army needs to operate, if it is necessary. We either detach ourselves from this phenomenon now, or it will never happen. It is similar to the pyramid schemes with its impact. If it is just a perception, we need to fight it. If it is the reality, even worse”, Manjani declared.
The Minister also spoke about the conditions at the Zaharia prison, and the Prison Hospital, both reported by Top Channel of being in a very bad shape.
