Minister of Interior replies to Basha about fight against drugs

He lists six points from the State Police and the Italian Guardia di Finanza:

1 – The area monitored in 2016 is 506 hectares. 213 of which were cultivated win cannabis. In 2013, the monitored surface was 361 hectares, 323 of which was cultivated.

2. Monitoring hours are 18% more than one year ago, 50% more than in 2013.

3. Flights were carried out throughout the country.

4. This is the reason why in 2016 we discovered more cultivated areas than one year ago. It is not a sign of failure, but a sign of the good work by the authorities.

5. In 2016, police destroyed 99.8% of the cultivate area. In 2012 was destroying 0%. In 2013 only 7.5%. Who is the tarfficker here? Whose is the government tied with drug gangs?

6. 19% of the destroyed plants were caught it their early stages, which shows the massive work done by the government for preventing this phenomenon.

“Guardia di Finanza declared that there is an excellent cooperation with the Albanian Police, with positive results, and that this fight will continue in the future. Berisha, Basha and Noka have their right to throw mud against our work, as they have always done. It is clear today that alobania had an unsolved problem with the cannabis cultivation. Today it is getting a solution. The distinction is very big”, the Minister said.
