The SMS threat against the Interior Minister has been taken seriously by
the Prosecution, who have given immediate protection to his family.
The Prosecution authorized the RENEA Special Forces to guard the Minister’s residence, including that of his father, whose business was attacked first.
The Prosecution has given the Minister of Interior a Protection Status that will guarantee him protection from years after his duty is over.
The status is given because the Prosecution suspects that the threats against Tahiri’s family are serious. It all started with an explosion at the pharmacy of the Minister’s father, for which was later accused the Gjuta family.
Police arrested seven members of this family, while Vladimir Gjuta is on the run, considered as the man who organized the attack against the business of Tahiri’s father. Police has tried several times to catch him during this period, but without result.
