The Minister of Integration, Klajda Gjosha, received this Wednesday the
Ambassador of Lithuania, Alfonsas Eidintas. During this meeting they
discussed the challenges that Albania is facing regarding the
integration process.

Minister Gjosha valued that the support of the EU member countries in this “journey without return” has always been huge.

She informed the ambassador on the work progress for fulfilling the five priorities, the recommendations of the European Commission in the report of October, and the measures that are being taken to realize these recommendations.

She underlined the justice reform, which Minister Gjosha considered as essential for progressing with the integration process.

“We believe that the political parties should find consensus for this important reform, which will return to the Albanian people the trust to the justice system. The reform also requires all-inclusiveness not just for numbers, but as evidence of a constructive political will, where every party gives its contribution”, Gjosha declared.

The Minister underlined that everyone is aware that this reform should be deep, well thought and that can enable Albania to take a further step ahead with the integration process.
