Minister of Infrastructure meets Himara citizens: “Urban plan will continue”

The Albanian government is determined to continue the local project for
Himara. The Minister of Infrastructure, Damian Gjiknuri, said that the
expropriated residents will be compensated based on the law in power.
Accompanied by the Himara Mayor and the Minister of Culture, Mirela Kumbaro, Gjiknuri met with local residents and said that they were generally positive about the plan.
“The residents had a generally positive reception, but among them there are people who represent political parties and associations. Himara has big problems with property, that’s why I want to tell citizens that the property matters will be treated first”, Gjiknuri declared.
