The Minister of finances said the government will propose the Parliament
to pardon the fines given automatically to numerous small businesses
who were not aware of it.
“The government and the Prime Minister watched this issue closely and we will propose the Parliament to remove these taxes from the system. But I want to underline that this is the last time that the government makes such a proposition, because tax discipline is only in favor of our citizens”, Ahmetaj declared.
The Minister rejected accusations that the tax administration acted illegally. Sources say there are around 30.000 fines given through the law in question.
