The Armed Forces celebrated today the 15th anniversary of their Doctrine
and Training Command, which leads the preparation, education and
constant qualification of officers. Present in this ceremony was the
Minister of Defense, Mimi Kodheli.
Kodheli thanked the military staff that has educated entire generations for years, and underlined that the Armed Forces have now the chance to offer their expertise to all NATO allies too, since the High Course of Safety and Defense is only “Listed by NATO”.
“I expect the Doctrine and Training Command to take the necessary steps to raise the level of this course and improve the curricula”, she added.
The Minister mentioned the Center of Excellence, to address the issue of foreign terrorist fighters. “We reviewed the necessary political steps with NATO. We have the support of many ally countries and we are negotiating to accredit this as an Center of Excellence for NATO. It is your work that must honor us in the international arena”, the Minister emphasized.
