The Minister of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and
Entrepreneurship, Milva Ekonomi, said the building of the large Karpen
port in Kavaja will make other current ports to focus on tourism.
The Minister of Economy released this declaration while inspecting the progress of a pilot project for opening a professional qualification school inside a manufacturing company in Xhafzotaj, Durres.
Ekonomi says these government supported initiatives take the partnership between Albanin and European enterprises one step further, by encouraging qualification of young job seekers and by helping the full formalization of our country’s economy.
“This model is takin the shape of a national project that will extend through other Albanian schools. Using this initiative in other businesses is a priority for the Austrian Office for Development in Albania”, Ekonomi said.
