The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu in a communication with the media spoke today about the situation created in hospitals due to the virus, and the 100% reimbursement of the basic medical package for home-treated patients diagnosed with COVID19.
According to Manastirliu so far in the Covid 1, 2 and 3 structures, there are still 15-20% of free beds, while she added that the Covid-4 hospital is now ready.
“Currently we have confirmed with Covid-19, 29837 cases, producing an incidence of 1042 cases for every 100 thousand inhabitants. The increase in confirmed cases has caused an average increase in weekly cases, to 518 in the 46th week of the pandemic. 52% of these cases are female and 48% are male. There is a slight increase in active cases of the disease, 526 active cases per 100 thousand inhabitants. Fatality is 646 lives or 22.7 fatalities for every 100 thousand inhabitants. Mortality is lower than in the region. 15-20% free beds in three structures and the fourth structure is on standby. ”
