During the inspection of the works for the reconstruction of the health center of Zall Bastari, in the north-eastern part of Tirana, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu stated that the treatment of patients with Covid19 will continue without stop by family doctors.
She added that despite the situation caused by COVID19, investments in public health are continuing for the reconstruction of primary care centers from the north to the south of the country.
“We have shown with deeds and not only words that investments in primary care are of the best quality. We have not stopped the work for the reconstruction of primary care centers from the north to the south of the country and I am pleased that even in this remote area, we are rebuilding primary care infrastructure with the same standard, both in cities and in the most remote areas”, said Manastirliu.
Emphasizing that the primary care strategy includes the expansion of services, Manastirliu said that the health centers will also include social services for residents, especially in remote areas.
