From the health center no. 8 in Tirana, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu announced that the wearing of the mask in a closed areas is a necessary measure, which will enter immediately into force to protect the health of citizens and limit the spread of COVID-19.
“Masks or textile face protection barriers will be mandatory to keep indoors by every citizen,” she said, stressing the great battle being fought in the infectious disease hospital to save the lives of patients where 90 citizens are currently being treated.
Manastirliu said that the battle with Covid 19 continues every day on the ground by epidemiologists or even family doctors who are following the cases with Covid19 at homes. Thanking the health personnel for the work performed and guaranteeing them for their continuous support with personal protection materials, the Minister appealed for compliance with the established safety rules.
