Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu and the Mayor Erion Veliaj, inspected the new Lanabregas Health Center today in the outskirts of Tirana, a government investment in the framework of rehabilitation of 300 health centers.
“It’s a health center that will provide health care to about 5,000 people in Lanabregas, and we’re really pleased that we kept a promise we made to you. We have already started not only with the rehabilitation program of 300 health centers, where only the region of Tirana has benefited from this program 52 rehabilitated health centers and ambulance points, but also the adjustment of service delivery according to demographic developments that have occurred in the capital”, said Manastirliu.
Speaking about the pandemic situation, the Minister of Health said that a lot of work is being done in the field to isolate the cases, while asking for the cooperation of citizens to limit the spread of COVID19.
“In Tirana we have opened 4 other testing centers this week while in 54 testing points throughout Albania more than 80 thousand fast tests have been performed”, added Manastirliu.
