Minister Ekonomi: “Albania attracts more investors”

The Minister of Economy declared on Top Channel’s news studio that our country is attracting new investors.
The World Bank declared that Albania has taken big steps for improving the business climate. On Doing Business 2017, the Bank reported that Albania’s ranking was improved with 32 positions compared to one year ago.
As result, Albania is listed 58th in the world for a friendly business climate. Only one year ago it was listed 90th. This is the best historic ranking that Albania has ever had in this report that is taken in consideration by foreign investors.
“The Doing Business report notes that the quality of reforms have been good. A positive step was the construction permit which now can be taken online. We have moved 83 spots up. The tax payment time has been reduced with 90 hours, increasing our position with 45 spots”, Minister Ekonomi explained.
