The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, held a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Israel.
The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation for security issues in the Middle East and Balkan, for the fight against terror and violent extremism, economic development and cybernetic protection. Minister Bushati updated Minsiter Netanyahu with the recent developments in the region and Albania’s role as a stability factor.
On his behalf, Prime Minister Netanyahu valued Albania’s approach towards the security challenges in the region, and expressed Israel’s interest to reinforce cooperation in the area.
Minister Bushati and Prime Minister Netanyahu discussed the possibility for cooperation in innovation, economy, education and culture.
During his visit in Israel, Bushati will meet with the Minister of Defense, Minister for Regional Cooperation, the opposition leader, the leaders of the American-Jewish Committee and the World Jewish Congress.
