Miners continue hunger strike

The hunger strike continues with a tense situation in Bulqize, even in
its 20th day. Nothing has changed and the solution seems very far,
referring to the consequent failures in the negotiations between
parties. The latest clash between ACR and the Municipality was another
point that further tensioned their relations.

The Red and Black Alliance came in the town of Bulqize to support the miners, together with the Democratic Party MP, Bedri Hoxha. However, the strike continues, while many other mineworkers are considering the idea to join the strike or replace the current ones with another group.

This would keep the mine blocked until their requests would be solved. It remains unknown when the negotiations between ACR and the miners will continue, which will not be mediated by the Mayor Roland Keta, who was excluded after a harsh debate with the head of the syndication, Kol Nikolla.
