The communists officially launched their campaign for May 8th local elections, presenting Hysni Milloshi as their candidate for Mayor of Tirana.
In front of the supporters gathered at the History Museum, Milloshi attacked the Socialist Party leaders.
“What brings us together with the socialist electorate is the difficult life, but it divides us more than the mountains from you Socialist Nazis. But we are unbreakable, because we are pure Marxist steel”, Miloshi declared.
Mr. Milloshi declared that the communists will ask support from the common people.
But if elected as Tirana’s Mayor, how would Mr. Milloshi live together with a right centered government and Prime Minister Berisha?
“There are cases of cooperation, like in Athens, where the biggest municipal units are headed by communists and they are doing the best job”, Milloshi confirmed.
Hysni Milloshi was registered at the Election Central Commission by a tactical move of the coalition “Alliance for the Citizen”.
One of the governing parties, SMI, transferred one municipality council member to the Communist Party, what made the communists gain representation in the Council, giving Hysni Milloshi the possibility to run for Mayor of Tirana.
