Milan Consulate to welcome Albanian and Kosovo citizens

This is the start of a concrete cooperation between Albania and Kosovo in the joint representation of diplomatic sees. The Foreign Ministers of the two Albanian states, Ditmir Bushati and Enver Hoxhaj, were together today for the inauguration of our Consulate in Milan.

In presence of an Italian diplomatic corpus and Albanian associations in Italy, the two Foreign Ministers declared that “the consulate is a concrete and important step in expressing the strategic partnership and diplomatic representation of both countries, a clear indicator of the work and good will to be close to our citizens with better services”. Milan was not chosen by chance. Both Ministers valued the good relations with Italy, a country that has welcomed large communities of Albanians from Albania and Kosovo.

The Milan Consulate went under a physical reconstruction, now offering a better panorama and promising that the Albanians of Albania and Kosovo in Italy will find better services.
