The Albanian Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, held a meeting with the
Japanese delegation led by the Head of the Chamber of Representatives of
the Japanese Parliament, Bunmei Ibuki.
In the joint press release, Meta valued the help and support that Japan has given in these 23 years of transition for our country. He said that the visit of the Head of the Chamber of Representatives shows the importance of the relations between the two countries, and added that Albania welcomes the growth of Japanese investments in Albania and through Albania in the entire region.
“We welcome a growth of the Japanese investments in our country and through Albania in the entire region. I thank Japan for the help given for Kosovo and for the stability in our region. I thank them for their commitment to transmit good neighboring messages in the entire region. We have created a friendship group with Japan”, Meta declared.
The Japanese high-representative valued this meeting as very fruitful in reinforcing the relations between the two countries.
