After the decision for postponing the Civil Employee Law, the opposition
accused the government of committing a political attack to the
consensus in Parliament. Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, declared that
the government has asked for dialogue and has expressed its will to show
the opposition the objective reasons that imposed this normative act,
which is a technical matter.
“We are for dialogue, not for attacks”, Meta declared.
“I prefer dialogue and not attacks. Government representatives have asked for dialogue and have expressed their will to show the opposition the reasons that imposed this normative act. The Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party has not attended this meeting, and because they don’t know the technical and legal arguments, they are prone to take such decisions that should not undermine this debate, which is certainly an active one”, Meta declared.
