Meta: We avoided early elections

One day after showing his loyalty to Sali Berisha, by giving the votes
of the Socialist Movement for Integration for electing Bujar Nishani as
President, Ilir Meta declared that this was a constitutional process
that avoided early elections and brought a product that was appreciated
by everyone.
“There were many chances for consensus, and finally it was the duty of the sovereign Parliament to give the only remaining concrete solution for avoiding the early elections, since there was consensus, in full accordance with the Constitution. The concrete product is the new President, Bujar Nishani. Regardless his past membership in the Democratic Party, he is a very constructive figure and I think that the opposition shares the same opinion, regardless its political stance for reaching the consensus about the names”, Ilir Meta declared.
With a small but categorical answer, the SMI leader denied the chances that he would return in the Berisha government.
“The media falls victim of untrue statements, but this is part of democracy”, the SMI leader decalred.
After making sure that this majority will not fall until 2013, the only thing that is expected with interest, is the name that the Prime Minister will appoint for the Interior Ministry.
