The Albanian Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, started a visit in Denmark, invited by his Danish counterpart, Mogens Lykketoft.
The Parliament Speaker was accompanied by Parliament Members Gramoz Ruci and Olta Xhacka from the Socialist Party; Shpetim Idrizi from the Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity; Agron Duka from the Republican Party and Musa Ulqini from the Socialist Party.
The press office says Meta was received by his Danish counterpart in the Copenhagen airport, Mr.Mogens Lykketoft, who reserved a special and warm reception to the Albanian delegation.
The two Speakers expressed their appreciation for the realization of this visit, and stated that this will reinforce the inter-parliamentary relations between both countries.
During his two-day visit in Denmark, the Albanian Parliament Speaker will be received by his counterpart, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fishing; by the Danish Industry Confederation, the Danish Agency for Energy; the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE and the Danish Ombudsman.
Meta will also attend a meeting with the Queen of Denmark, and will hold a special speech on Albania’s stabilizing role in the region through a conference organized by the Danish Association for Foreign Policy.
