Meta, there is poverty, but Albanians should not fall pray of frauds

The Socialist Movement for Integration leader, Ilir Meta, commented the
recent political and social developments in our country at the meeting
of his party.
Meta valued the Strategic Partnership agreement signed with the USA.
“I value the Strategic Partnership Agreement with the USA. It shows that Albania is a strategic ally of the US and an important contributor in the international peace-keeping missions”, Meta declared.
EU integration was another issue mentioned by him, which the Parliament speaker considered as an undisputable negotiation process for Albania.
Meta declared that important in this direction is the cooperation for peace in Balkan, the economic development and growth of investments for prosperity in the region.
As for the local elections, Meta reiterated that they will be historic for the fact that they will implement the new territorial reform.
“The June 21st elections are historic because they are realized with the new reform, and not with 400 municipalities, but with 61 in total. Now we will be able to see the ability of the Mayors to realize not only tenders, but also policies that can create jobs”, Meta declared.
As for the local government, the SMI leader declared that it is on the right track, but the reforms need time to give fruit.
