The Socialist Movement for Integration member, Spartak Braho, announced
as chairman of the Security Commission that there would be quick actions
at the Secret Service, which is led by Visho Ajazi. But the leader of
the Socialist Movement for Integration and Speaker of the Albanian
Parliament, Ilir Meta, appealed for avoiding what he called “exaggerated
protagonism”, in which he didn’t exclude the stances of the Socialist
Movement for Integration members.
“Exaggerated protagonism of anyone does not serve to the common goal of political actors for increasing the efficiency of this important service, which first of all is on the interest of our security as a country, and also in Albania’s contribution in the fight against terrorism. I encourage all actors to refrain themselves when we are dealing will important and delicate services. I don’t exclude anyone from exaggerated protagonism”, Meta declared.
The Parliament Speaker declared that the majority encourages the independence of institutions. He declared that there is no attack against the President, and declared that Nishani has been misunderstood when he considered the stances of some Parliament Members from the left wing as stances of the entire left center.
Meta: AMA Director mandate expired
Meta mentioned some institutions Directors, with whom the Socialist Party has very good cooperation, but this was not the case for the AMA leader, Endira Bushati.
“It has been verified that the AMA leader, based on decisions taken by the Parliament, is not legitimized for her mandate as Director, because she hasn’t been elected as a member since September 2012”, Meta declared.
The Socialist Movement for Integration leader greeted the Prime Minister’s initiative to invite the opposition in the territorial reform. Meta invited the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, to overcome the blocking of important reforms.
