Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta met yesterday with the Special
Parliamentary Commission over the justice reform, and also with the EU
Ambassador, Romana Vlahutin.
Meta said that the successful realization of this reform is a huge contribution for opening earlier the negotiations for Albania’s EU membership.
The Parliament Speaker underlined that the recommendations of the Venice Commission should prevail and lead the parties in this major process.
Meta said that it is a responsibility of the political forces to cooperate and build consensus through all-inclusiveness.
He thanked Ambassador Vlahutin and the US Ambassador, Donald Lu, for their efforts to promote dialogue and all-inclusiveness.
