The Socialist Movement for Integration leader, Ilir Meta, held a meeting with the Albanian President, Bujar Nishani.
The meeting lasted for 40 minutes, in which Meta and Nishani discussed the power transition and institutional cooperation.
Meta expressed his appreciation for this meeting, and declared that he discussed with the President to reinforce the future cooperations.
“It was a pleasure to meet the Albanian President and share our opinions about a further reinforcing of cooperation, so that we can serve to reinforce institutions, the rule of law and to establish independent institutions that will coordinate their work in function of the reforms that will bring the candidate status to our country, hopefully within this year”, Meta declared.
Meta met Nishani one day after his ally, Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, met with the President to discuss the cooperation of the future government with the Head of the State.
