The Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, declared that the political class
should give a message of responsibility on the June 21st elections.
Meta appealed the opposition to engage in fulfilling the election standards, and stop what he called “trying to defame the process”.
“We must give a message of responsibility for these elections. The issue of standards is our nd the desire to throw mud on the elections will not bring any good”, Meta declared.
He added that the opposition is discouraging the supporters from voting and are abandoning their own candidates.
As for the accusations for buying votes, Meta invited them to present the evidence to Court:
“Let’s give an end to the defamation”, Meta declared.
He added that after June 21st, a major reform will be applied in the administrative territorial reform that was opposed by the Democrats.
