In Berlin, where he is attending an official visit, the Albanian
Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, met with the German Minister of Labor and
German MPs.
Meta said that Albania will start the negotiations during the next year, trusting that the justice reform will allow it.
“We have made huge efforts for this, together with the EU experts. We are currently at the moment when a proposition draft for Constitutional amends has been sent to the Venice Commission”, Meta declared.
He expressed his trust that this will be an important moment for the EU to encourage the negotiation accession with Albania.
