The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, said for Egyptian media that the project for a Greater Albania is not possible, and the one for a Greater Serbia has failed.
“It is very important to protect the sovereignty of people in order to preserve the sovereignty of a state. It is not Albania’s duty to play the referee role with conflicts of other countries”, Meta said.
Meta underlined that Albania has a joint project, and that is joining the big family of the European Union.
“All Albanians have a joint project, and that is joning the EU. The idea of a greater Albania is not possible. The Greater Serbia project has failed”, Meta declared.
