Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta was part of the inauguration of a milk processing factory at the Tirana Agricultural University.
This factory, established with financial contribution from the EU, serves to the students of this university and to teaching.
Meta said that this factory is an important message to guarantee high-level standards for consumer safety.
“It is a pleasure for me today, on the Day of Consumers, to inaugurate this center of European Standards for processing milk and its sub-products at the University of Agriculture in Tirana.
It is an important and significant message for guaranteeing high-level standards of milk safety and food in general. This raises awareness for improving the food quality and for reaching the highest European standards”, Meta said.
