The Socialist Movement for Integration leader, Ilir Meta, declared that
the majority will continue the reforms for Albania’s integration.
“The reforms are for the Albanian citizens. Albania will be in Europe and it will be part of it, and this is undisputable”, declared Ilir Meta.
The Socialist Movement for Integration leader underlined that the recent positions held by the former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, are completely incoherent. For three consequent years he said that the albanophobes of Europe were hampering the status, but now he is talking with an unseen rhetoric against the europhobes.
Meta also talked about the draft-budget of 2014, which after a few days will be reviewed in Parliament.
“We are about to pass this draft budget. It is not the budget that we all would want, but I can say that it is the most realistic alternative for the problematic situation in which the former government put our country”, Meta declared.
According to Meta, the current government will legalize all debts created by the former government, which were a trap for the country’s economy.
“This is a painful step, but necessary for stabilizing the economic and financial situation, to guarantee stable economic growth and reduce the debt”, Meta declared.
