Meta: “As President, I will not decree Ministers who violate free vote”

Ilir Meta declared that not only he is not going to give up from the
presidential post, but he also threatened to use his power as Head of
State after July 24th to not decree as Prime Minister people who, as he
said, violate the free vote.
“Anyone who is trying to damage the free vote, as they are trying right now, will not have any decree for Minister or Prime Minister. Decrees are only for regular electoral processes. Who doesn’t understand this, will learn it very soon”, Meta said.
Meta said that a fair process is decided by citizens, who, according to Meta, “will vote against the oligarchy which wants to turn Albania into the drug and waste depot of Europe”.
Meta asked the technical Minister of Interior to take the police under control, since he has information that high structures are making pressures all over Albania for electoral motives in favor of the party in power.
