Meta and Vlahutin on Europe Day

In the opening speech, Speaker Meta reiterated the need for dialogue, and expressed his readiness to make it possible.

“Our country needs more responsibility and no egoism. More dialogue and less arrogance. More stability, investments, employment opportunities, social equality and putting the country’s interests and the European future as a priority of political agendas. It is never late to find a responsible solution. I will never stop my efforts for dialogue and compromise”, Meta said.

The EU Ambassador to Tirana, Romana Vlahutin, guaranteed once againt aht the EU is committed to help Albania with its integration path.

“The EU started like the dream of some people to become the hope of many. These words from the Rome Declaration last March are especially true here in Albania, where people who believe in the EU and want Albania to become a member are numerous. This gives us a big responsibility and shows that we are doing the right thing by supporting Albania’s EU path. Everything we do here in Albania is for the citizens, so that they can receive support to change institutions and the society for the better”, Vlahutin said.
