Meta about anti-slander package: Without media freedom there is no EU integration

The Albanian President, Ilir Meta, reacted to the anti-slander legal package, initiated by the majority.

While he underlines that without free and independent media there is no European future for the country.

Meta lists a series of reports and statistics about the media freedom, saying that these are alarm bells for the deteriorated situation in which Albanian journalists are seeing themselves today.
