“We need to bring down the walls that we have built”, declared Archbishop George Frendo before Christmas.
“The walls built by prejudice, ambition and vanity. You who held a grudge against someone, are you prepared to lend a hand to him and wish him Merry Christmas? If not, you are a fake and hypocrite, not decent to celebrate Christmas”, Frendo said.
“Same as the desire of Jesus for more peace and happiness in Jerusalem, we must give our best to our country in these hard times, leaving more room to love than hate”, he added.
“Albania has been blessed by God in many ways, but let’s stick together for Albania to be a more decent place for Albanians. We wish to all of you Merry Christmas and a happy New Year”, Archbishop George Frendo concludes.
