Menduh Thaci: This is why I didn’t go to Vlore

The leader of the Albanian Democratic Party in Macedonia, Menduh Thaci,
was absent to the 100th anniversary of independence celebrations in
Vlore.

“It’s not a personal matter. I am the leader of the Albanian opposition and for this I chose to not go to that room, pretending that the Albanians in Macedonia are having a good life. I didn’t participate, for showing seriously that the situation of the Albanians keeps being very bad”, Thaci declared.

According to Thaci, the BDI party, part of the majority, is to blame for the difficult situation of the Albanians in Macedonia.

“We must say that truth as it is. These Albanians in government have brought nothing good. They have been surrendered and are giving no resistance. They try to cover what they are doing now with history. They place a statue of Hasan Prishtina, but not of Harun Aliu, the close friend of Ali Ahmeti who was killed in suspicious circumstances, and keep holding weddings like this, without keeping in mind that the nation has had the maximal sufferinggs”, Thaci declared.

Besides this situation, the Democratic Party leader appealed the Albanians ton not give up. He declared that by removing BDI from the government, the Albanians can improve the situation through better efforts.
